Maximum Availability announce Set-Up Wizard for the *noMAX Suite of Products

Maximum Availability, a world leader in high availability software for IBM iSeries, have announced the release of the Set-up Wizard, further streamlining the implementation of the *noMAX suite of products.
The Set-Up Wizard effectively enables the creation of a replication environment between two or more iSeries systems- in minutes.

“We’re excited about this fantastic new feature,” said Simon O’Sullivan, Senior Vice-President of Maximum Availability.
“It will allow our new customers to set-up and begin data replication between iSeries using Remote Journaling and *noMAX in about ten minutes. This further underlines *noMAX as the simplest and quickest HA technology to install and continues to set the product suite apart from the competition.”

Historically, the setup of Remote Journaling and *noMAX involved a number of steps which, while not complicated, were necessary to the initial implementation process. Creating profiles, uploading the software, installing the GUI and setting up local and remote journaling can now all be achieved in minutes using the *noMAX Set Up Wizard. The Wizard allows the user to establish a connection between the Primary and the Backup iSeries and immediately begins journaling the libraries. This means that the *noMAX configuration is automatically created in the final step, greatly reducing the installation time and simplifying the process even further. Maximum Availability offer a full demo of the *noMAX product suite on request at their website for companies who want to trial the product first.
