Maxava is hosting a small, in-person event in Edinburgh on March 12th, for IBM i focussed on one question, how to deliver real resilience in a hybrid world.

Many IBM i teams are exploring Power Virtual Server as part of their DR and availability strategy, often without clear guidance on where it genuinely fits. At the same time, expectations from the business, regulators, and insurers continue to rise.

This Maxava-led session, with contributions from IBM, will be practical and experience-led. We will focus on what we see working in live IBM i environments, where outages really come from, and why many DR plans fail when tested.

We will also cover:

• Where PowerVS fits in the modern enterprise.

• How customers are using PowerVS today for DR, HA, and production workloads.

• Common concerns around performance, security, data sovereignty, and skills.

• Proven, pragmatic resilience architectures.

The format will be informal and interactive.
